• Recognize the Congressional intent behind the creation, within the Act, of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)

• Identify prohibited non-audit services under the Act’s independence rules

• Recognize the lead auditor’s mandatory rotation and time-out periods under the Act
